Idaho security guard services from SecureOne are delivered by SecureOne's own officers, supervisors and managers rather than a partner company. Below is what each service involves and when it tends to make sense.
Unarmed and armed security guards
When unarmed fits: offices, business parks, apartment communities and most retail. The job is access control, visitor check-in, rounds and calm handling of everyday problems.
When armed fits: sites with cash handling or high-value inventory, a credible threat, or past incidents involving weapons or violence. We will tell you honestly which one your property needs.
SecureOne hires officers with prior military, law enforcement or security experience. Each officer completes required training plus training on your post orders, works alongside a field supervisor until ready, and is First Aid and CPR certified.
Mobile patrol

Patrol officers visit on a schedule or at random, check doors, lots and fence lines, lock and unlock buildings, and respond to alarms. Vehicles carry GPS Insight real-time tracking and in-car 360-degree cameras, and you get the patrol report by email every day. It is a common way to cover nights and weekends without a full-time post.
Mobile camera trailers
SecureOne's mobile camera trailers are solar-powered units with 24/7 remote monitoring, live camera monitoring, motion-activated alerts, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, talk-down audio through an onboard speaker and a backup power system. They suit construction sites, commercial lots and real estate.
Off-duty police officers
When a sworn presence is the right call, SecureOne's law enforcement team supplies licensed off-duty and recently retired police officers in good standing, background checked, trained in SecureOne's force policies and certified in CPR, AED and First Aid.
Event and short-term security
We staff armed and unarmed officers for one-day events, short projects and urgent needs, and plan the coverage with you ahead of time. In 2019 alone, SecureOne provided more than 80,000 manhours of short-term and event security.
Idaho industries we serve
Warehousing, distribution and manufacturing

Officers run the gate and the dock, check in drivers, confirm trailers and paperwork, keep visitor and vehicle logs, and patrol inside and around the building after hours.
Offices and business parks
Front desk coverage, visitor management, employee escorts to the parking lot, lock-up and vacant suite inspections.
Construction
Theft of tools and materials and after-hours trespassing are the main risks. Camera trailers and roving officers cover the site for one phase or the full project.
Retail
As SecureOne's retail security page describes, officers deter theft, vandalism, trespassing and car break-ins while staying friendly with customers. If something happens, they de-escalate and call the police. They do not chase people.
Apartments and HOAs
Patrols, posted officers and compliance checks give residents a consistent presence and give managers clear incident reports.
Reporting and account management
Reports, photos and patrol checks are filed in Vision InSites, SecureOne's real-time security reporting platform. You have one point of contact available 24/7 and SecureOne's 24-hour dispatch center behind every post. Field supervisor inspections are included at no additional cost, and WinTeam keeps scheduling and billing accurate. On site, officers wear a tan shirt, black hat, black pants and black shoes.
